Man Dies In Snowmobile Collision

A 42-year-old Brooke Alvinston man died in a snowmobile crash early Friday morning.

Lambton OPP Constable Todd Monaghan says police and EMS responded to the 6000-block of Churchill Line around 1am.

He says the operator of the snow machine failed to negotiate a curve on a trail and slammed into some trees.

No name is expected to be released until after a post mortem is conducted.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
