A Dozen Charged On Closed 402

Middlesex OPP charged 12 people Sunday for driving on a road closed due to bad weather.

Police say Hwy. 402 westbound was closed in Middlesex County from the Hwy. 401 split through to the Lambton County border at Sexton Road.

Constable Liz Melvin says between 8am and 2:30pm, a dozen drivers, including one operating a transport truck, disobeyed the road closure barricades and proceeded to drive on the closed 402 in the city of London.
