Cancer Society Cuts

A $5-million funding shortfall has resulted in consolidation and job cuts within the Canadian Cancer Society.

The Lambton County branch is now being overseen by the manager of the Chatham-Kent branch.

The local manager, Bill Yurchuk was told earlier this month his position has been cut.

Yurchuk, when contacted by Blackburn News, declined comment. Cindy Vinall takes over.
