More Bitter Wind Chills

Bitterly cold wind chills were expected to develop again Wednesday.

Brisk northwest winds with a low of minus 19 C Wednesday night in Sarnia-Lambton will create a wind chill around -30 C. That's the threshold for Environment Canada's extreme cold warning but one has not been issued yet.

Lambton Public Health's Cold Weather Alert remains in effect.

We're advised to dress in layers and limit our time outdoors to avoid frost bite and hypothermia.

A wind chill of -32 C is forecast for Thursday.

The U-S National Weather Service has issued a wind chill warning for Port Huron and St. Clair County Michigan.
