Police Seek Nintendo Thief

The Sarnia Police Service is looking for help to solve a robbery.

On Sunday, February 8 around 2:30am, a man entered a business in the 200-block of Indian Rd. wearing a blue and yellow scarf to conceal his face.

The man went to the electronics section of the store and picked up a Nintendo Wii. The man then left the store without paying for the item. A female employee who told him to stop was struck in the face with the gaming system. The suspect then fled on foot south towards Devine St.

The suspect is described as between 5'3'' and 5'5'', approximately 130 lbs, wearing a grey denim coat with a hood and black pants.

Police are releasing surveillance video of the suspect in the hopes someone can provide information to assist with the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sarnia police or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
