Home Mail Delivery To Temporarily Continue

It will be at least two years before door-to-door mail delivery is phased out in Sarnia.

Canada Post spokesperson Anick Losier says they're beginning the process in centres such as London and St. Thomas where there is a higher projected rate of staff retirement.

She says municipalities, the Canadian Union of Postal workers and homeowners will be notified well in advance of the beginning of the end of door-to-door delivery which will take about a year to phase in.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
