LCCVI Damage Assessment Continues

Lambton Kent District School Board Director Jim Costello hopes LCCVI in Petrolia can reopen early next week. A decision will be announced later in the weekend.

The high school has been closed since Wednesday morning after a two-inch water supply line to the sprinkler system ruptured, filling the basement with up to seven feet of water.

Electrical panels and the boiler system were under water.

Board Director Jim Costello says experts continue to assess the damage.
