LCCVI To Reopen Monday

There's some good news in the aftermath of severe flooding at Petrolia's LCCVI high school last week.

Neither the electrical system nor the actual boilers sustained significant damage.

Over seven feet of water swamped the boiler room after a two-inch water supply line to the sprinkler system ruptured Wednesday morning.

The school was closed until Monday morning.

Lambton Kent District School Board Business Superintendent Ron Andruchow says they're renting a four-million BTU outdoor replacement boiler to heat the school.

Andruchow says environmental consultants will be testing for any signs of mould.
