Names Released In Walpole Island Deaths

Walpole Island Police Service has released names as it continues investigating the discovery of the bodies of two men February 22.

Police say 64-year-old Conrad Johnson and 68-year-old Amos Ermatinger, both of Walpole Island, were pronounced dead at the scene on Public Bush Rd.

Investigators are awaiting the results of post mortem examinations and forensic testing.

They are reminding the public however, to dress appropriately and take other precautions during extremely cold weather conditions.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
