OPP Cruiser Struck

Lambton OPP is investigating a rear-end collision involving a police cruiser late Tuesday morning.

It occurred on Hwy. 40 south of Confederation Line when an officer was sitting in his marked cruiser with the roof lights activated to warn approaching traffic about a collision.

The police vehicle was struck by a pick-up truck.

Both vehicles sustained minimal damage and there were no injuries.

The OPP reminds motorists to slow down, stay alert and stay in control in inclement weather conditions.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
