CANstruction Event At Lambton Mall

The Inn of the Good Shepherd's CANstruction event is on at Lambton Mall and with 18 teams participating it's bigger than ever.

Teams have built amazing structures using non-perishable canned food items they've collected.

All the food is eventually goes to the Inn's food bank and soup kitchen.

Operations Manager Adelle Richards says you can have your say in choosing the People's Choice Award winner.

There are several other awards including a new category this year with a St. Paddy's theme, which will award the team with the most green coloured cans.

The build took place Saturday throughout the mall and judging was set for 1pm Sunday.

The Peoples Choice Award will be announced March 21.
