Suspects Sought By Sarnia Police

Sarnia police have released a security video in hopes of identifying two suspects in an attempted theft late last month.

Police say two men gained entry to an apartment building on Sandy Lane around 2am, February 23.

The two attempted to break open coin boxes in a seventh floor laundry room. No money was taken, but damage is estimated at $400.

Both suspects are described as 5'10" to 6' tall. One was wearing a blue and white ball hat and a dark winter jacket with white lettering on the back. The other suspect was wearing a black jacket, a dark hoodie and toque.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sarnia Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
