UPDATED: Snowmobile Hits Wire Fence

Lambton OPP have released further information on a serious snowmobile crash in a farm field in Enniskillen Twp. last Saturday evening. (Mar 7)

Police say a 51-year-old Sarnia man entered a farm property on a snow machine in the 4000 block of Rokeby Line and hit a wire fence.

The unidentified man had been the last in a line of three snowmobiles. His friends realized he had not reached their destination and returned to find him suffering from life threatening injuries.

The initial police report indicated the man was transported to hospital in London for treatment.

Police say no charges have been laid.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
