Watershed Conditions

The Ausable-Bayfield Conservation Authority has released a Watershed Conditions Statement.

With warmer temperatures forecast today and this weekend, it's expected there'll be some runoff from snow melt.

While river flows are not expected to be significant, they could be strong enough to move some weakened ice.

The potential for jamming is limited primarily to the lower portions of the Ausable and Bayfield Rivers, including the river mouth areas of Port Franks, Bayfield and to a lesser extent Grand Bend.
