House Fire on Churchill Line

There was a house fire 2 miles east of Wyoming in the 5000-block of Churchill Line Friday evening.

Wyoming, Petrolia and Camlachie fire departments, OPP and emergency vehicles responded to the scene around 9:30pm.

Wyoming Fire Chief Mike Vasey says there were no injuries.

The lone occupant was an elderly male.

Fire investigators be on scene again this afternoon in an effort to determine the cause.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
