Two Costly Weekend Fires In Lambton County

Damage could run as high as $350,000 after a home and two vehicles were destroyed by fire in the 3200 block of Kimball Rd. Saturday evening.

St Clair Township Fire Department Chief Walt Anderson confirmed that a homeowner trying to thaw out a frozen pipe triggered the blaze.

Meanwhile, Wyoming Fire Chief Mike Vasey says they're still looking for the cause of a Friday night house fire that destroyed an 88-year-old wooden home in the 5000-block of Churchill Line between South Plympton Rd. and Wanstead Rd.

No injuries were reported in either fire.
