Sarnia Was Ontario's Hot Spot Monday

The mercury climbed to 15.1 degrees celsius (59F) Monday in Sarnia, the warmest in Ontario.

Environment Canada's Mark Schuster says we were just one degree shy of the hottest spot in Canada, that being Whiterock, British Columbia.

The record high temperature in Sarnia for March 16 was 18.9C or 64F set way back in 1927.
