Local Leader Recognized Internationally

A local leader in the bioindustrial sector has been recognized internationally for his work.

Dr. Murray McLaughlin of the Sarnia-based Bioindustrial Innovation Canada has been named one of the top 125 people in the Advanced Bioeconomy by the international industry publication Biofuels Digest.

He says securing companies like BioAmber and having the Research Park fully operational are big keys for our area.

Award recipients were recognized at the 2015 Advanced Biofuels Leadership Conference in Washington.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
