A Busy Agenda For City Council

A busy agenda for City Council this afternoon.

A delegation will speak to council about a proposed four-way stop in front of Northern High School, which the city is not recommending , staff might instead look at a speed limit change.

Council will look at accepting a bid for an emergency stand by generator for just over $100,000 that will allow city hall to better function during power outages

A by-law will be looked at limiting the use of electronics by councillors during meetings, in particular social media

Council will look at the possibly extension on the Agreement of Purchase and Sale for the Sarnia General Hospital Site, current deadline is April 17th

Council is being asked to review their unanimous decision during a March 9 meeting to veto offers they received on the Bayside Centre. The request was made by the Receiver for the downtown mall A. John Page and Associates

Council will also look at Approving a five year contract extension with Sarnia District Humane Society
