High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

The Manager of the Imperial Theatre is thrilled with the organization's success at the recently completed Western Ontario Drama League Festival in Owen Sound.
The Sarnia Theatre production "The Clean House" won top honours and captured awards for best visual and best coordinated production.
Brian Austin says it's a great piece of theatre.

Henri Canino as "Virginia" won the best actress award.
Austin says they're now looking forward to the Theatre Ontario Festival in Oshawa in mid May. He says they've launched a fundraising campaign to reduce costs. You can find links to donate at Theatre Sarnia's Facebook page.
