Public Input Sought On Wind Project Road Agreement

Lambton County is again seeking public comment on a proposed road use agreement with the Cedar Point II Limited Partnership.

Suncor has plans to erect wind turbines in Plympton-Wyoming, Lambton Shores and Warwick Township.

County Public Works Manager Jason Cole says the agreement is designed to protect the condition and long term operation of county roads that will see heavy truck traffic.

Cole says a previous road use agreement with Suncor was suspended in order to accommodate company revisions to the document.

The new agreement can be found at www.lambtononline.ca.

Comments can be submitted to Jason Cole until April 21 at jason.cole@county-lambton.on.ca or by calling 519-845-0801 ext. 5370.
