Decision To Allow Wind Turbine Farm Appealed

An Environmental Review Tribunal decision to allow 46 wind turbines to be built in Lambton County is being appealed.

The tribunal was called after Lambton County and Aberarder residents Kimberley and Richard Bryce appealed the initial decision to build Suncor's proposed wind turbine farm. The appeal, submitted by the Bryce family last summer, cited health concerns surrounding the wind turbines.

However, following a hearing, the tribunal dismissed the appeals in March.

The Bryce family, represented by Falconers LLP,  has now appealed the tribunal's decision to the Divisional Court of Ontario, once again citing health issues associated with the turbines.
