Mayor Wants Regional Summit With Wynne

Mike Bradley says if the premier can meet with 25 mayors from the Greater Toronto Area, she can sit down with representatives from southwestern Ontario.

Sarnia's mayor is taking part in a conference call with his London and Stratford counterparts Wednesday to try to organize regionally to have a stronger voice at Queens Park and in Ottawa.

Mayor Bradley would like to see a regional summit organized with invitations being sent to Premier Kathleen Wynne and key cabinet ministers.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
