Letowski Says Goodbye

Former Sting Head Coach Trevor Letowski says the city of Sarnia will always be special to him.

The Thunder Bay native and popular former Sting player was relieved of his coaching duties in a sudden move by the OHL team's new ownership earlier this week.

Letowski spent an hour on the air with Sue Storr on CHOK's The Talk Show Friday morning.

Letowski says he regrets not being able to follow through with his plans to develop the team and return the franchise to its glory days in terms of attendance.

He says his biggest disappointment is the new ownership's lack of consultation with him.

The Sting announced Tuesday that Letowski and Assistant Coach Andy Delmore were dismissed and new co-owner Derian Hatcher was taking over as head coach.
