Canada Post Representaive To Speak At Sarnia Council

A representative from Canada Post will speak to Sarnia Council on Monday about its service changes.

The Crown agency is in the process of phasing out door to door delivery, saying it will cost half as much as to deliver to community mail boxes.

Mayor Mike Bradley says council has some concerns.

Mayor Bradley says he would like to see Canada Post meet with those impacted by the switch to community mail boxes.

Canada Post says currently only a third of its deliveries are door to door.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
