Immunize Or Face Suspension

Students have until the end of the month to update their immunization records or face suspension.
Lambton Public Health's Erin Courtney says 4,000 postcards were issued to area elementary students this year.
Suspension notices will be issued May1 with suspensions to take effect May 28.Courtney says making sure your children stay up to date with vaccinations is the best way to protect your communities and schools from other outbreaks that can cause unnecessary illnesses and deaths.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
