Pipeline Safety To Be Discussed In Sarnia Today

The issue of pipeline safety will be front and centre as National Energy Board Chair Peter Watson makes a stop in Sarnia today.
Watson will be meeting with Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley, St. Clair Twp. Mayor Steve Arnold, and Lambton County Warden Bev MacDougall.
Bradley says it's important to ensure aging pipelines are upgraded so we don't see another incident like the Sun Canadian spill of 2013.
He wants to see a regulatory process put in place so that companies follow through on promises to upgrade their infrastructure.
