Breathing Easier

Sarnia Lambton residents are breathing a little easier.

There were no smog days locally in 2013 and the Environment Ministry says air quality was rated good to very good 93 per cent of the time in 2013.

Spokesperson Kate Jordan says there was a 38 per cent drop in nitrogen dioxide and a 60 per cent decrease in sulfur dioxide.

In fact in 2013, there were no smog advisories issued in all of the province, although it was a much cooler summer than normal.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
