College, Goodwill Clothing Drive

About 40 students enrolled in Lambton College's "School Within a College" program have organized a Goodwill donation clothing drive that runs until month's end.

Manager Karen King says the drive will help students obtain the volunteer hours they need to receive their high school diploma.

If they exceed their goal of 500 donors, there's the possibility of a paid part-time position at Goodwill.

If donations climb to 1,000 bags of clothing, a potential full-time job could be created.

Donations can be dropped off at all Goodwill locations but we're asked to tell employees it's for the Lambton College drive.
