Dante Club Gets Federal Grant

Recent upgrades and renovations at the Dante Club have received a financial boost from the federal government.

The London Rd. hall has been given $50,000 from the Enabling Accessibility Fund.

Board Treasurer Myles Vanni says the money will help pay for the $300,000 in improvements which included the installation of an elevator.

The Dante Club also held several fundraisers to help pay for the project, including a raffle for a ten day Mediterranean Cruise and trips for two to Las Vegas and New Orleans.

The prizes will be drawn this weekend as the club marks its 57th Annual Members Dinner.
