Nature Trail Walk Marks Earth Day

Some local nature lovers are celebrating Earth Day with a walk along the Howard Watson Nature Trail.

Organizer Peter Smith says they'll meet at 6pm along the trail just south of London Rd.

They'll be joined by naturist Larry Cornelis and Shawn McKnight who will highlight different species living along the trail.

He says Earth Day is a perfect opportunity to get out and see what the trail has to offer.

The walk will take about an hour, and they're asking you to bring along gloves and garbage bags so they can clean up the trail along the way.
