Sarnia Sting Orientation Camp

Fans can get a first hand look at the newest members of the Sarnia Sting organization this weekend as the team holds its annual orientation camp.

Scrimmages will be held at the RBC Centre at 2pm Saturday and 10am Sunday.

GM Nick Sinclair says the camp features 2015 draft picks, some 2014 prospects and local free agents.

All 2015 Draft picks will be introduced and presented with their draft caps and jerseys at the Hive Bar & Grill, beginning at 4:30pm Saturday.

2015 Sting picks include Nash Nienhuis from the Lambton Jr. Sting along with Sasha Chmelevski, Ryan McGregor, and Aidan Hughes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
