Sarnia police are still investigating a violent home invasion that occurred just before 8pm January 11, 2015 in the 1800 block of Blackwell Rd. A victim suffered a broken nose, bruises and swelling on other parts of his body in an assault by a man wielding a baseball bat. The victim was eventually able to disarm the intruder, who also may have been injured, and forced him from the house. Police say the suspect was a white male, about 5'8", of medium build, wearing a hoodie under a dark coat.
