Bluewater Health Welcomes Two New Doctors

The Emergency Department at Bluewater Health in Sarnia is getting two new doctors.

Director of Professional Staff Programs Alison Mahon says Dr. Marisa Homer started a couple of weeks ago and Dr. Lesley Cannon, a Sarnia native, is scheduled to begin this summer.

Mahon says Dr. Cannon also completed some of her family medicine training locally.

The addition of Dr. Homer and Dr. Cannon brings the number of full and part time physicians working in the emergency department to 19.

Bluewater Health has recruited over 34 new physicians since 2009.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
