Suspension notices are going out today. (Wednesday, April 29)

Lambton Public Health is mailing out over 2,400 notices to parents of elementary students, whose immunization records are not up to date.

Supervisor Erin Courtney says parents still have a few weeks to get back to the health unit. Suspensions don't take effect until May 28.

Lambton Public Health says the records include immunizations for diphtheria, tetanus, polio, mumps, rubella, measles, and new this year meningitis, as well as whooping cough and chicken pox for children born in 2010 or later.
