City To Invite Canada Post To Public Meeting

Sarnia City Council will hold a public meeting in the near future regarding the change to community mailboxes by Canada Post.

The Crown Corporation recently presented its five point plan to council, but stated public meetings would not be held.

A motion by councillor Brian White to have city council hold its own meeting about the transition was approved Monday.

He says an invitation will be sent to Canada Post.

A start date for the change to community mailboxes in Sarnia has not been set.
