Hunger Awareness Week

The message during this Hunger Awareness Week is that everyone can play a part in reducing hunger.

Myles Vanni at the Inn of the Good Shepherd has helped organize a multi-faith gathering tonight at 7pm at Grace United Church at Cathcart Blvd. and Indian Rd. N.

Christian, Muslim, Hindu, First Nations and Unitarian communities will share music, readings, and prayers at tonight's event.

Vanni says the issue of hunger is much more prevalent in Sarnia-Lambton than people realize with families, those with disabilities, the under-employed and seniors unable to pay the rent and hydro and put food on the table as well.
