Millions In Improvements Planned At CEE

Areas of much needed improvement have been identified at CEE Hospital in Petrolia.

A two phase plan calls for the redevelopment of emergency department, a new ambulance entrance and new registration centre.

Bluewater Health Vice President of Operations Mike Lapaine says they would also like to better utilize parts of the south building.

Lapaine says once given the green light from the Erie St.Clair LHIN, they would seek public input on the plans.

A request to the LHIN will be sent within the next few weeks.

The two phase project could cost close to $5-million.
