Another Season At Victoria Playhouse Underway

Another season of comedy and musical entertainment gets underway Tuesday at Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia.

Director of Performing Arts Richard Poore says ticket sales are running well ahead of last year.

Mr. Poore says they've listened to their audience and tried to give them what they asked for.

Among the highlights are the legendary Ben Vereen in "What a Wonderful World" and Mark Payne in "I Love a Piano."

There are six plays being performed in all, culminating with world renowned Jesse Grandmont in "The Fiddler and the Crooner."
