A Sarnia student is among the 2015 scholarship recipients announced today by Union Gas. Parent company Spectra Energy Corporation has selected eight children of Canadian company employees for scholarships up to $20,000 over four years of undergraduate study at college or university. Alyssa Janes of Sarnia, a student at St. Clair Secondary School, is one of this year's recipients. A committee makes the selections based on various criteria including academic performance, leadership, school and community participation, and financial need.
