Sarnia Police Make Arrests In Stabbing

Sarnia police have arrested three people in connection with the stabbing of a 60-year-old city man earlier this month.

Police say the incident occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Cameron St. just before 7am May 10.

It's alleged three people dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered entered the home and stabbed the man after he answered the door. The victim was transported to London hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

29-year-old Lee Joseph Dion and 31-year-old Luke Joseph are each charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, break and enter, and disguise with intent. 36-year-old Naomi Oliver faces charges of extortion and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for a fourth individual, a 21-year-old man.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sarnia Police or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
