Suncor Will Foot The Bill For Road Damage

Suncor Energy will be footing the bill for any damage to county roads during installation of its Cedar Point Wind Power Project.

There will be talks between the county and the energy company as to which roads will best suit their needs during the construction period.

General Manager Infrastructure and Development Jim Kutyba says the agreement protects taxpayer dollars.

The 46 wind turbine farm will be built in Lambton Shores, Warwick Township and Plympton Wyoming.

The county will receive about $200,000 over the course of the 50-year agreement.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
