Local Housing Starts Picking Up Steam

Construction on new homes in Sarnia picked up last month.

Work started on 22 homes in May, up from nine starts the month before.

Starts to date this year are 40, which Passarelli says is within the five year average.

He says key indicators in the Sarnia area show the new home market will continue to pick up steam.
