One Run For Breast Cancer Research

A breast cancer survivor will run from Sarnia to London Friday, raising funds for cancer patient care programs.

Sarnia police Constable John Sottosanti says Theresa Carriere has made the 100K trek three times before.

The run will start at Sarnia Police Services headquarters. They'll travel down Exmouth St. to London Line out to Hwy. 21 and then to Confederation Line to Strathroy. Runners will continue on Egremont Rd. through Middlesex County and into London ending at John Paul High School.

Carriere hopes to arrive at her destination in London at 7pm.

This year's goal for the Annual "One Run" is $200,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
