Public Elementary Students To Receive Graded Report Cards

Elementary school students within the Lambton Kent District School Board will be getting grades on their report cards after all.

Education Director Jim Costello says local principals will input the grades because of a work-to-rule campaign by the province's public elementary teachers.

Costello says parents with individual concerns can schedule a meeting with their child's teacher.

Elementary teachers began an administrative strike in May and have threatened to ramp up their job action for the next school year if no progress is made in bargaining over the summer.
