Don's Journey Of Hope Begins

A 65-year-old Sarnia man is doing his part to help in the fight against childhood cancer.

Don Wells' team will be walking 160km from Port Lambton to Windsor, collecting money for children with leukemia.

As a cancer survivor, Wells says he felt a special connection to the children.

The walk got underway June 22 and will make stops at Walpole Island, Wallaceburg, Dresden and Chatham before wrapping up June 29 in Windsor.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
