Jewellery Theft Being Investigated

Lambton OPP is investigating a day time residential break and enter in Plympton-Wyoming and the theft of thousands of dollars worth of jewellery.

Police were called Saturday morning to the 5000 block of London Line to investigate a break-in that's believed to have occurred Monday June 15, at about 4pm.

Police say an unknown subject gained entry and stole items valued at about $5000.

Items reported stolen include a Sentry safe, a Wittnauer gold pocket watch, a gold ring with single sapphire and small diamonds, gold ear rings with a solitary ruby and small diamonds, a gold necklace with ruby and diamonds and another gold ring with a ruby and small diamonds.

Anyone with information about the break, enter and theft is asked to call OPP or Crime Stoppers immediately.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
