Mayor John McCharles the Discovery Foundation Board has submitted a resolution to Petrolia Town Council that will be dealt with when council meets at 7pm.

The town has offered its help to the site for a number of years without success.

Meetings began following the death of the long-time general manager of the site.

Mayor McCharles says the resolution asks for a councillor to come on board and town staff has agreed to help out with management of the site.
