Petrolia Line Reconstruction Delayed

Downtown Petrolia merchants are catching a break from the engineer spearheading a two-year, $4.5-million reconstruction project on Petrolia Line.

Mayor John McCharles says work won't begin until the end of July with the core area not likely to be impacted until mid August.

It's an attempt to keep traffic flowing through the busy month of July.

McCharles says garbage and recycling shouldn't be affected.
