Sting Players Look Forward To NHL Draft

The NHL entry draft kicks off Friday night in Florida and two Sarnia Sting players are expected to be taken within the first two rounds.

Pavel Zacha is ranked number eight among North American skaters while Nikita Korostelev comes in at number 50.

There's also a chance Brandon Lindberg could get drafted as well. He's ranked 140 in North America.

In his first season with the Sting, Zacha notched 34 points in 37 games. Korostelev led the team in scoring with 53 points in 55 games.

The Sting have had a number of players drafted into the NHL in recent years including Steven Stamkos, Alex Galchenyuk, Nail Yakupov, and Nikolai Goldobin.
